     As a painter who loves photography, picture-taking started out as a way for me to create reference materials for paintings, has grown to be a media that I find quite fulfilling and challenging in itself.

     The constantly changing patterns within the restricted space of a swimming pool stimulated my creative spirit. Underwater, on quiet Florida summer mornings, I find a minimalist wonderland, with the stripped down aesthetic ideals awash in subtropical light.
