     With this series I am working at the intersection of human emotion, natural world and technology, I photograph elements in nature that are usually unnoticed, then refine and reduce them to the essentials of rhythm and pattern. I believe my role as an artist is to create a sense of magic in this dreary world. To this end, I reduce the natural elements to purely calligraphic abstract lines.Intuitively following where each image takes me, Meticulously composed using the computer and reinterpreted with a painter's attention to light and surface, the subject becomes dreamlike and disembodied, intermingling the physical world with an imaginary one. I see them as paintings for the age of the computer.
